I have always been interested in how our minds work and why we do what we do. Following a corporate career and a number of major life changes, I realised that my career was no longer right for me. I realised it was time to make a change and go with my heart, so I studied hypnotherapy and counselling, a passion that had been waiting on the side-lines for the right time and opportunity. While studying hypnotherapy, I experienced its benefits first hand.
Now I am delighted to be able to help others make real changes in their lives through hypnotherapy. Whether, this is to help with stress and anxiety, habits, fears or phobias, improving confidence and self-esteem, weight management, or stop smoking ………. and many more.
I am a fully qualified hypnotherapist and hold a professional membership with the National Society of Hypnotherapy. As such am listed on their accredited register and bound by their professional ethics. The National Hypnotherapy Society’s register is accredited by the Professional Standards Authority Accredited register programme. This programme was set up by the Department of Health and is administered by the Professional Standards Authority, who are an independent body, accountable to Parliament. The Programme was created to ensure that the public are able to choose safe, ethical and competent professionals for their health and social care needs.
I undertake Continued Professional development (CPD) and am currently studying for a diploma in counselling skills and theory. I also attend frequent professional Supervision in order to ensure I provide the best therapy I can.
I offer a safe, secure and fully confidential environment for you to talk freely and openly without judgement and fully welcome any questions or queries you may have about hypnotherapy, so please feel free to contact me by telephone, email or even text message.
